Art - Kingfisher Prime OmniMech.
« on: 07 April 2018, 13:37:47 »

A redesign of the classic Kingfisher done by the superb - https://bishopsteiner.deviantart.com/  with more decently sized weapons and feet that don't look like clown shoes, as well a redesigned torso.

And a smaller, far less zoomed in one -

Bishop's work is always stellar.

The fact that he made the bloody Kingfisher look good is blowing my mind.

That is very nicely done, it actually looks like an omnimech now.

I really dig the cockpit, was never really sure of the angle between the art and the mini.

That looks really good, although the waist is a little thin for my tastes. I feel like a Kingfisher should look thick, like probably-can't-torso-twist thick.

It looks pretty sharp, but I don't think "Kingfisher" when I see it.  More like "Hellstar Omni" than Kingfisher.

By the way, does Bishopsteiner do requests/comissions?

I love it!  8) 8)

Nevertheless, it loses some of the charm of the original Kingfisher: in the TRO:3058 art the Kingfisher had a notable belly. Now it's awfully thin

Could be the Blood Spirit variant then. You know they did have only meagre resources, so their Mechs would have not gone *fat* ...  ;)
