Does anyone know the average cost per jump transporting a company of mercs and equipment?

IIRC, the book value was 50,000 C-Bills per Dropship Collar per jump.  So if you only need 1 collar to travel 3 jumps, you will pay a total of 150,000 C-Bills.

If you are transporting your company by using 3 Leopards, each with a Lance of Mechs, and a refitted Union that has been redone to be a cargo hauler, that is a total of 4 Dropship Collars needed, and if you have to travel 3 jumps, that is 600,000 C-Bills needed.

Now one person did some accounting to get other numbers here:

Short version, here are the costs per collar for various Jumpships if you had to pay them off:
Scout: $529,500 c-bills
Merchant: $391,500 c-bills
Invader: $293,500 c-bills
Magellan: $728,500 c-bills
Chimeisho: $338,000 c-bills
Tramp: $449,500 c-bills
Star Lord: $219,500 c-bills
Monolith: $195,000 c-bills

StratOps changed the cost of ships, and I don't know how much that changed cargo pricing, but before that, if you wanted to ship your stuff as cargo, you'd pay about 100 C-Bills per ton (counting personnel ~5 tons apiece) per jump.

Hiring real berths on a combat ship is different because you're paying for weapons and armor and for the ship to be carrying you instead of executing better paying missions, so that cost will vary from ship to ship.

You might do some forum diving, I do not have the time to search right now but we had a couple page discussion a while back about costs and cost modifiers (like jumping into a hostile system) for some granular options.
