...Its kind of an odd thing.  If you look at the name of the Clan, it belongs to the 'Mist Stalkers'.  I never liked the name, so 'Jungle' was sort of a filler.  I was supposed to go back and figure out a better name, but I never did.
 And yeah - in order to be able to fight back, the original Wolverines split into 5 - the'IlClan' and the 'First Clans'.  They subdivided again to create the fifteen 'Second Clans'.

Each of my Clans were assigned a purpose, to fight and overcome one of the 'Disgraced Clans' or 'dezClans'.
 The Woverines vs Wolves, Devil Wasps vs Snow Ravens, that kind of thing.  I don't have the list handy and its just obsolete information unless I decide to try and finish it.

All of a sudden, the idea of one page a week seems like a good idea.  Three hours of landscaping and a nine hour day are a sucky combination.  I think I'm going to take a wellness day next week, I got a couple I have to use this year.

Thanks to a mishap involving being told I was on vacation while my boss didn't file the edocuments, turns out I'm done.  Tomorrow, its back to work to hash out how this is going to screw up my vacation days for '24-'25.  So sick of this.  4 times my coworker and I tried to book vacation only to be refused for different reasons and somehow its my fault they didn't do their job.  Well, just enjoy the screenshot.

Well, done for the night - tomorrow promises to be another drama filled day, stripping all the dirty laundry, hoarded food and 'treasures' and confiscating stuff from my daughter's rooms in the basement.  Gotta remember to make an appointment Sunday with my SIL and her boyfriend to clean and re-attach their dryer vent and a bunch of smaller stuff.  They're gonna be annoyed, I have to get my wife to tell them a basement room isn't a bedroom and can't be used as one because there's no escape window.

...You know, I designed a 55-ton unit similar to the Osprey back in the 80's as part of my obligatory five-regiment fan unit with all-unique designs similar to the Dragoons.  4/6/4, Gauss Rifle with two tons of ammo, twin 4-packs, 11 tons of armor, XL, ES, all that kind of thing.  I might try to make a version of it into the Osprey, I don't know if I still have any of the designs or records anymore, though.

A 1:20 bit of work done - (Insert whining here.) - but its time for bed.  Work is just kicking my ass, I may have to give up for a while since I pretty much demanded a transfer.  I deal with my adhd kids at home, don't want to deal with teachers that complain because I won't let them get away with doing things like hot glue guns on wood flooring without cardboard sheets to work on.

Anyway, I don't have records any more of 'Solo's Scorpions' beyond a hazy memory of the units and unit organization, so the new variant of the Osprey goes full MD with a C3i.  Umm, forgot to change that to a Small Cockpit.  Maybe later.  In the meantime, screenshot.

Probably not going to get this one done according to the one sheet/week notion.  I'm ok with that, things have been going ok and the prospect of 10 disgusting boring days camping is looming before me.  There won't be much more to do than write fluff although without being able to use MML on the box its going to be limited to paper and pen.

Osprey and Rook are done, at least.  Got a bunch of yardwork and new smoke alarms at one of the rentals to do tomorrow.  Got to talk to some landscapers, too, I want a PVC drain pipe run under a sidewalk to a channel drain installed to take water further from the foundation and I can't find any to to take water down a fairly steep driveway although I haven't given up doing it myself yet.

MORE drama.  But, the rain means everything is too wet to really do anything effective.  So its bag a bunch of wet grass I had to dump out of the in-laws compost bin onto the street because it was too heavy for the truck and some errands like picking up a new bike on sale at Canadian Tire.  Oh, and type.

*As an aside, I've come across an advert for 'The Crust', a new video game I've decided looks interesting enough to buy.  MWO doesn't interest me anymore, so besides playing Battlefleet Gothic II for the Imperium on a harder setting this looks like a new timewaster.  (Somehow the alien races don't do it for me, but managed to solidify my choices for a new project as either introducing aliens to the battletech setting or writing out a story for NANOWRIMO I call 'My Two Houses'.  Or both. )

Ah, I just haven't had time.  Up at 5:30, work at 6, yard work, DRAMA!, four hours of landscaping at work today.  I even got the Shingles vaccine, finally.  Hopefully, a good supper tomorrow.  I might be able to finish another bit tomorrow, but I've got a birthday for my MIL to clean the house and dust off the old cake decorating skills.

Well, sounds like it may be one of the smarter things I've done in the last couple days, anyway.  I took a new posting at a larger building, further away and with a significant amount of extra work and other employees to supervise, so its going to be make-or-break.

Anyway, a slight mix-up; turns out the Primitive Rifleman is only 50 tons, so I had to go back two pages to put it in its correct column.  Fortunately, this is far and away one of the easiest fixes since all I have to do is press the return to clear a column and move everything over.

*edit-I see I'm getting a little careless with the text boxes outlines and fills - guess that's worth catching up on so I don't forget later.  Really don't like how a lot of units don't have at least one notable unit, but its a struggle to balance between 'faction/variant', 'capabilities', and 'Notable unit'.  At least with the Assults the plan is to either reduce it to 2 units/page or extend the column into a second page (similar to the Blakist Serpentus Series of vehicles).

Anyway, I see the post accepted both screenshots, and that's probably it for this weekend.  Yay, DRAMA!

I just finished the MML files, so no screenshots, but I'd like to leave on a bit of a high note as I leave for a 10-12 day 'no electronics' camping trip dreamt up by my wife.

On the plus side, I am starting to get annoyed with the 180-200 word deadline for these entries, so sketching out and writing the 'My Two Houses' fanfic will actually begin to get therapeutic rather than feel long winded.

Should have a screenshot tomorrow.  For now, here's one of the units, the JM9-LC.  Don't really like it - I think of making a custom ES Internal Structure for a refit and weep.  And they want to produce this thing?  Talk about polishing a lump of poop.  Does anybody have any opinion on this design?

Yeah, well….  (Snip). Can’t talk about it and make it seem I’m not whining. I hate people that bleed online.  Life is just getting crazier.

Hope to have it done in a year or so, decided how to adapt the ELM rules and there are only a couple major sections left; vehicles, ELMs, drones/robotics, and scenarios.

Well, got more done than I wanted to tonight.  I'm off until the 15th so I might squeeze out a bit more, but I'm overtired and headed off to bed.  Its looking like that might be it for the summer - I might be doing design work in MML now so I don't have to later but I'm definitely getting run off my feet right now.

Ok, its been a good, consistent run of pages, but I'm supposed to be pixel-free from June 1st all the way to the 12th (Not likely if we continue to get this beautiful rain for the next four days.)  AAAAnd..  DRAMA!  Stupid kids.

So, the fanfic will have to wait a bit as I puzzle out some of the finicky plot details.  Its a bit annoying, as it seems lots of people are vaguely interested enough to actually read it here or leave a like on the Spacebattles forum, so without outside encouragement I thought I'd take a bit of a break.

Anyway, worked on this for a couple hours - lots of stuff forgotten in the last month or so.  I was thinking I'd work on this M-T-W and do the fiction T-Th for a week or so and see how it works out.  Anyway, screenshot.
