On TO page 305 it says "A drone control unit and all of its attached drones are treated as a single unit for initiative purposes."

What does that mean when the drone and the controller are different unit types with different initiative rules?

For example, an airborne Small Craft Drone Controller has attached Drone OS Battlemechs.  Per TW page 37 do you use Movement Phase(Aerospace) for the Battlemechs?  Or Movement Phase(Ground) for the Small Craft?

Similar confusions arise with a Dropship Controller and Drone OS ASF.   Per TW page 76, do you use the dropship subphase for the ASF or the ASF subphase for the dropship?

Or, does the rule need rewording so drones act as a unit within their (sub)phase while the controller acts within its own subphase?
