Title: Improved PPC, Lasers, and Missiles?

What are these? I can not find any reference to them outside of the Alpha Strike Companion Alpha Strike Weapons Conversion Table starting on page 104 going to page 115.

They are Battletech weapons. They have no special rules in Alpha Strike, if I recall correctly, so they are merely subsumed into the damage values of the 'Mech or other vehicle (I think Missiles might refer to the Aerospace variety).

If I recall correctly, those were the Clan weapons that were the same as IS versions but one crit less.  They were mentioned once in the original TR 3050?  And they are in IO now.
