ok so I been building a new pc for a friend so the grandson can have older pc( to play with ). Well so far I spent 900 building a pc for them this pc beats my in every way with newer items and so called specs but my pc still has a better windows index rating lol.

fx 4100 cpu(95 watts)
asusa m5 a97 evo atx board
8 gigs ram ( at about 1666mhz)
1.3 tb harddrive
sata dvd burner
a geforce gt 520 video card with 2 gig ram.
mine
amd phenom 2 945 cpu ( it about 3.5 ghz 125 watts)
asus board 2 years old.( or better)
8 gig ram it 1600 mhz but the board will only see it at 1333mhz)
1.1 tb hard drvie ( 1 tb and anothe 100 gig hard drive )
a geforce 275 ( oc verizon card) with like 896 ram )
dvd burner
and my lowest windows ratting is a 7.3 and that on the hardrive
the other computer video card is like a 4.9 for areo but it can handle directx 11 were mine won't lol
I am so shocked in the price and the power rating between the 2 computers. I bet if i looked i can flash my bios to take the newer fx cpus too lol
