BattleForce is just awesome mate, I really strongly recommend it. The more I play it the more I start to like it better than normal BT, specially because of the speed and attractiviness to newer players.
You can use your old minis, the same maps and one piece of paper per player (to write as armor gets picked up). For the unit stats I recommend these cards from Pry-Rock Industries, it is a free download you can just print on some stronger paper and should be more than enough to use over and over. They also have one extra advantage over the official versions: they write the normal Defense Value of the unit right on the card. You can also download the free counters on the main battletech homepage which can be very useful in setting up urban battles.

Later on you can just print the record sheets from Strategic Operations, use the cards to fill up your companies and rock it.
