Mech Icons
« on: 16 April 2017, 11:51:02 »
Many of us in our group prefer older or different images for certain mechs, or to more accurately reflect a custom loadout.

Where do I need to go to "reassign" those icons/images so that they are available in game again?

I remember a .txt file in the icons folder that I could manually update to customize mech images in older versions, but can't seem to find the same thing in the current version I'm using, Stable 42.0.

Thoughts or recommendations?

look in data/images/units
find the localclient_mechset or localserver_mechset files for changing images. I *think* this will override the main mechset file with your changes. I know it does for quirks between the canon and override files.

Thanks!
