Except its not very disposable at almost 5 million a pop, that's like 7 Vedettes. Its not technically a drone either since it is a fully autonomous unit. They might have been better off investing in combat vehicles and fortresses with good comm links for drone controls for 69 years.

So you are saying it'd better to have autonomous/drone tanks over this? Here's a production variant that's lighter and cheaper.

Yeah that's definitely more disposable I'd be comfortable losing in a fight. I'd even say that each Fox doesn't need to have a Guardian. They could operate in 3s or 4s with only one EWAR protection unit and the rest armed with another medium and a small laser (Red Fox) for probably similar price.
