A good read though with a predictable ending.

I just finished reading it during my train ride.
Overall a good story, nice and simple, showing how even non combatants can help in the war.
The story itself could serve as a small RPG "spin off" hook for some young GM that wants to introduce people into the Jihad.
That part where the populace is confronted and told to disperse? Your adventurers could all start there, meeting up for the first time.
It's not about winning or losing, no it's all about how many chapters have you added to the rule books after your crazy antics.

Agree with the two posts above mine.  A nice little story that shows everything is not about the movement of regiments and capital ships.
