Dissect that creation! Tau whatever

To help folks get some ideas for building their own terrain, I thought I might encourage what I do- which is look at pictures of other DIY terrain to see where they got bits and what they did with them!



So for this one, two that jump out to me is the two ellipsoid towers on the left and right are deodorant applicators- Right Guards?  with all the bits pull out and mounted on some sort of base.  The second is that around the center column set it what looks like groups of four would be old keyboard keys!  Pried loose, flipped over and used for detail work.  I also see a few in other place around the ring- one to the left and two to the right with what maybe hazard warnings.

The offset tower looks like a upside down detergent cap too.

Concur with all your assessments, save that Right Guard isn't the only deodorant to use that design.

i think the ring of the thing holding the panels to the main tower is a busted standing fan base. and the main tower looks an awful lot like an old disposal casing i saw earlier.

The outer ring has lego control stick bases on top:

Maybe no one will miss the vacuum for a while?.... I can say it was stolen by ninjas....  8)

Good spot on the lego piece, I kept wanting to say the two discs near the front were lego small dishes but I was not really sure.

The ring around the very top of the big tower is corrugated cardboard.

At least one of the pieces of the 'smokestack' left of the big tower is a plastic bottle cap turned upside down.

The orange oval things on the sides of the deodorant towers could be the caps of the deodorants.
