Playing with the mech factory app and I noticed they had a interpretation of the rounding rules for the TUR special ability that differs from my own.

The example is an Inner Sphere Gauss rifle and 2 ER Medium lasers in a turret.

Raw damage is 2.245/2.5/1.5
Base damage rounds up to 3/3/2

The Mech factory people are interpreting the TUR under special unit ability damage value rules where rounding is done normally.  They come up with TUR (2/3/2)

I interpret the TUR conversion rules as "Run normal damage conversion rules using only the items in the turret, and this becomes the damage values contained within the TUR special ability.  Thus I come up with TUR (3/3/2)

My way of thinking basically comes down to, "If all the weapons are in the turret, then the base weapon stats should also be the TUR stats."

The base damage, non-special ability damage, for Turret is still considered base and not special ability damage, so it gets to round up.
