Well do to the current crappy weather in Georgia I cant fully finish my minis.  Applying dullcote in the rain isnt a great idea.

Hopefully I will get some pics done up soon.

It is my true hope that when I place these guys down on the playing table that folks go "Dammmnnnnnn!"   8) 8)

Ironically, I've got the exact same plans for the Jade Falcons I'm working on every so often. They take a backseat to my commission stuff, but I've still managed to get a couple units done, and hope to have a large force to show off someday soon.

Again, same here. I finally get some awesome minis done, and it's cloudy or windy for days, preventing me from taking pictures in decent light.

I didn't know you did commissions.  Come to think of it I don't I've ever seen any of your work.

I don't do them very often, and hopefully won't do them again now that I have a job that pays a decent wage. My current project is a box of twelve space stations for a guy on the SCN forums. When we agreed to the deal, I expected stations suitable for map play, a 4-5 inches across at most. Instead, I got behemoths larger than a folded-up mapsheet, and I've got some stuff for another guy to do when those are finished. I really miss doing my own stuff.

Ouch.  Sounds like you got shafted a little bit.

I'm just glad my current project is going so well right now.  I should have two more minis assembled here in a little bit.  Those two plus some elementals will get primered as soon as the weather clears up.

It's always both heartening and completely depressing returning to the house after a trip.
Yeah. And sometimes it's not heartening at all.

I was referring mainly to the fact that the house is still standing and did not fall into a sinkhole, rattle apart in an earthquake, burn to the ground in a hideous raging inferno, or get smashed to flinders being blown away in a tornado.
