Oh, yes. I'm surprised they made it in there too. Can't imagine how that slipped under the radar...

Well, the LAMs just converted to 'Mech mode and walked in underneath the air search radar....

Augmented Warriors, Capital Radar Map, Alternate Ammo, Stupid Infantry Tricks...I'm hooked! O0

May want to recheck some of the spelling though, unless you want to hear from nitpicky players who insist that there is no chapter titled 'Point Value Calculations'... ;)

Just blow up the other side, or at least the side that pays you more.

While not on my must have list I know this is a big deal to a great many others and so I say good for them. It really appears that there's some good stuff ahead.

I for one am disappointed that CGL decided to use "Infantry-Only Abilities" instead of "Stupid Infantry Tricks."  :'(

Some tweets today
"Let's see: Alpha Strike Companion ...uploaded to printer: check."
"BattleTech Box Set ... reprints loading on a ship on July 5th;"
"& still a few more books we're sprinting on: BattleCorps Anthology #5 ... Handbook: House Kurita; "
"And can we also get some BT Lance Packs done in time to show off at Gen Con? Never know what's going to make it until you're there. rnb"

wow, a reference to Handbook: House Kurita?  neat.  (along with everything else in there just being awesome)

Tripods, Quadvees, LAMs, and Augmented Warriors apparently make a showing.

So, what warship goodness to the Lyrans get? What's it like and does it use dropships or dropshuttles?

Did HBHK get canned?
Epitaph on an Army of Mercenaries

These, in the day when heaven was falling,      Their shoulders held the sky suspended;
The hour when earth's foundations fled,         They stood, and earth's foundations stay;
Followed their mercenary calling,               What God abandoned, these defended,
And took their wages, and are dead.             And saved the sum of things for pay.

After the 1941 april fools joke rules for weapons I had hypothesized that jump travel was the reason targeting was so wonkish in battletech. Before jumpships and hyperspace travel people had no problem firing long distances...

The HPG rules in the alpha strike companion go a long way to support that hypothesis.

Also the variable damage rule that I hoped would happen is super fun! Very different from normal battletech stuff too so I hadn't seen it coming. But pleasantly surprised!

Although we have recently received out latest does of crack...is there any way you can give us an update as to what to expect next, or was what we just got the last of it until GenCon?
