Or maybe they are a population of sorts, but they just aren't human anymore - genetically, or in attitude toward other humans.

Do you think they will be like these:

The teasers from House Book: Kurita are nice,  but I need something more.  Maybe we will get some PDF's to purchase this weekend.  Please!!!!!!!  We might get to 50 pages on this topic before we get anything.  A teaser or a picture from IlClan book would be nice.

I have a feeling Ilclan is not ready for teasers yet.  A certain someone on the CGL team has a penchant for driving this forum mad with teasers for upcoming books.

When Ghostbear starts messing with us it'll be forthcoming.  Unless he's messing with us by not messing with us in which case I'll be crying in my fallout shelter as Terra burns.

They used to do teasers all the time with the books, not as many these days.

And when can we look for Primitives IV?
end of next week is a possibility but not a guarantee.  :)
In August I kinda hoped that we might have the XTRO: Primitives 4 in our hands by now.

Thing is, technically the RFL-1N was produced after the TH perfected standardized components. Thus, it shouldn't be primitive at all...

Because the forces of legal restrictions, industrial security, national security, and economics never come into play to prevent the instant spread of new technology to any and all interested parties?

This must be why the US Navy has ceased to build Aegis DDs now that Zumwalt has launched, and nobody's building F-16s anymore, and iPhone 6s have 100% market penetration worldwide..

The Trooper was listed in the Retrotech section of Objectives: FWL. Personally, I'd theorised that it was a primitive long ago

I think we've all missed this point...

What month is it now??? October. So something has come along the line & pushed an item back that was literally about to be released. Oh, for want of more crack!

Even if they stopped building F-16s (which they have, but only for the US), there are literally thousands of them sitting around.
But then again, I did have to work on the silly things.
At any rate, all true points.

I actually didn't think they had stopped building the things. My point being that just because a newer and better technology appears, it doesn't mean the older stuff disappears from production overnight. It stays in production because it is still cheaper/more efficient to use in terms of costs or other resources, or because the newer stuff cannot be produced at the same level of reliability or the same quantities as the older technology.

There are plenty of good examples...F-22 versus F-15, both of which are in service, the F-16 and F-35, with the F-35 puched back to 2016 and the F-16 scheduled to remain in service until 2025 or later.
