long time forum lurker here.
I'm in the CBD/inner east part of Sydney, and looking for a bit of community love, maybe even a game or four. Let me know if you're in the same situation, or if you have a bit of a group looking for new blood!

Unfortunately, I am Canberra-based and family/work commitments are currently limiting my BT time to reading novels/sourcebooks, expanding my collection of minis and playing the occassional game of the new Battletech computer game beta. There are a few of people here on the BT forum who are Sydney-based, hopefully they will see this thread and reply. If not, I will try to get them in touch with you.

Hey mate, good to hear there's someone else in Sydney. There's at least one other Sydney player around too.
I'm in a slightly annoying position - I work nights at the moment, which has pretty much killed all of my gaming, bar MegaMek. Very annoying.

That said, it sounds like you're keen on Alpha Strike? I've got all the books but I'm yet to ever actually play it. I'd be very keen to eventually give it a go.

Cheers for replying. I completely sympathise with the ironies of what we call the work-life "balance", But it's good to know who's around at least. Nav_Alpha - I've never tried Alpha Strike, but wouldn't mind giving it a go one day. My personal experience is limited to the succession wars and early clan invasion boardgame, I'm hoping to expand into combined arms this weekend.
 Keep me in the loop if you ever hear of anything happening locally, or want to meet up and bash some toy robots together while making gun sounds!

What are you interested in playing? Classic BT? Hell, if you're even keen for a MM campaign or something I could get involved.
