REALLY crappy.

To be fair, though, the Wizards SW development team was dealing with a lot of issues when they were putting together their miniature game rules for their ship-to-ship tabletop combat system.

I'm not saying that it excuses the rather lackluster result of the rules-set, but I can appreciate that if they had better support and keener developers, this really could have been a great game.

Attack Wing is good for a couple of ships vs ships but not a good game for much larger then that. I'm sure Star Wars game will be the same.

Well, the same-scale Star Wars game is much better at it (I've seen 16 in a tournament game before).  Armada looks like it handles larger ships (relative to the table) but does it smoothly enough.

Kansas City players, or people who are just passing through the area, come join us at the Geekery just off Shawnee Mission Parkway for BattleTech!  Current days are Tuesdays in the afternoon and evening.  I can't make every single week, but odds are pretty good that somebody will be there.

Hm...this might make better miniatures for the game. Maybe a bit big though...

They're gorgeous figures, but there's nothing resembling a scale, though. From what I've seen, all the minis are sized to the box instead of to each other.

I have heard their Norexan will be pretty close to 1/7000, which I dearly hope. That's the scale I collect TNG and later ships at.

They launched that magazine over here last year, they're not to any sort of scale, but I did have the same thought of using them toplay attack wing.

I can't wait for the Battleship. It should be a nice size for the game.

So far they seem to be sticking to smaller ships. The most expensive though is the Assault Frigate. Big boy too. I have a feeling Imperial Star Destroyers will be about in the same price range.
I don't set an example for others. I make examples of them.
