Um, did CM mercs just get released?

So DriveThruRPG just sent an email to my inbox saying it was updated. I downloaded it and holy crap! It looks like a complete product!

Bravo CGL! Thanks for added Hansen's Roughriders into the mix!

Addendum: one huge thing I noticed was the usage of the BattleTechGame.com logo style rather than the one on this website and previous generation books (which I like better, TBH)

Agreed.

Also just noticed the section to actually create a merc unit. Seems like it was either in the pipe or Catalyst listened to us :P Awesome either way.

Mine says BETA.  Then again, I got notification to download from BattleCorps, so.........  not surprised.

I believe ours was through Drive Thru RPG, BattleCorps may be in weekend mode. :)

Lol, then why send an email on the 26th?  Again, not surprised.  If I can update files in google docs I don't see how they can have any problems.

It was an automatic notification from DTRPG. Perhaps they uploaded it forgetting that DTRPG would send out a notice in advance of a Monday release?

Confirm same here. Got a notification from Battlecorps and the download link was for the Beta.

BC really needs to fix their system, even a patch could really improve the experience.

The minimal, I would like to see:
- Additional download links for revised documents (because apparently it is too difficult to update existing links).
- An overview of all bought PDFs (I had a really hard time finding my ordered CM Mercs).

My battlecorps copy is updated now.

Looks like they added Hansen's Roughriders, a page on generating a player combat command instead of using a published one, and a page on rolling up a mercenary opfor.

DTRPG offers two docs under the same heading.

Funny enough, I'm most excited about one little box, the Alt . Munitions Era box. Now I know what toys to take with me.

But now we've got all sort of rules for custom forces up to the Regimental size.

How much control will we have over creation? Will we be randomly rolling for Merc company abilities or will we be able to pick and choose?

It gives you a number of points to create your force with, which lets you buy abilities and stuff.
