Just don't ask how they all fit in a Mech's chassis, current theorys are shrink wrapped or bags of holding or they expand when exposed to water :D
The fun part is missile launchers should be much smaller. You get 120 missiles per ton, or ~8.33 kg each. That puts them at the size of a
Folding-fin Aerial Rocket, which was 4 feet (1.2 meters) long, and less than 3 inches wide (70 mm). So an LRM-5 would be ~1 foot wide and ~8 inches tall, assuming you add half an inch around each rocket for the launcher itself). An LRM-20 would be about the same size as a
Hydra rocket pod, with a little more size due to reloading capacity.
Of course, I'm now trying to imagine loading rockets from an arm ammo location to a torso LRM mount (or vice-versa), considering they are high-explosive and 4 feet long. That is some good engineering.
