The California Nebula product specifically stated that while the cyberian robots could fool a Turing test or even an individual, they weren't truly sapient in the sense of being conscious.
Yet, they could adapt and change plans according to the circumstances and even seemed to mimic human political conflicts--so would they really be any different if they were sapient? What would be the primary differences to an outside observer?
