Mercenaries played a little loose with mech introduction dates in that it allowed you to encounter mechs before they were supposed to be available.  I wouldn't be surprised if that was done again here.

I'm pretty sure the top level determinant is how to get the most pledges out in the least time, not maintaining a strict wave order.

While we were presented with information about shipping rounds, there was no ordering promise baked into the Kickstarter.
One reason I'm not fussed about waiting is the absolute pounding that Florida has taken. Plastic army toys take a backseat to all that those poor folks have been through. Getting slapped by two major hurricanes in a matter of days is just boggling. If QML said they were taking a couple of weeks to make sure that their employees are in a good place, it would be totally understandable.

Well, I say that last statement but I'm sure there would be some backer in KS or reddit that would have expected them to be working during the storms.

I have no idea the relative costs but is the PVC method that Liya uses cheaper than doing a frame of styrene like GW uses? I definitely wouldn't complain if I could put together my own mechs. It would be much easier to do conversions/customizations and it feels like the hard plastics would be easier to remove mold lines. If it pushed the prices up to the prices of 40K boxes, I'll pass.

Personally, I've given up trying to figure what batch of what wave I'm supposed to be in. I paid for everything within the allotted time to have been in wave 1. I checked with QML to see if my order was waiting for restock and was told it wasn't. I still haven't gotten an address confirmation email from QML. I don't know that there's any rhyme or reason.
If this sounds like a complaint, or whining, I honestly don't mean for it to. I can be a patient man. I understand someone has to be first and someone has to be last. I had made the statement that I would be THE last backer to receive my order. Not just North America, but of the campaign. It's cool, I reckon I can wait and as long as they continue to release the star league and house packs, that'll give me something to do in the meantime. I wouldn't even be too fussed if they started selling product before I get mine. CGL making money means they can sink said capital into new minis and sourcebooks. Maybe I can buy another clan cavalry star so they'll be waiting for their brethren to eventually arrive.

I'm pretty sure he's referring to Eve Buhallin.

“I am not challenging you on this, but would it not be better if the main security for moving Nakazawa be provided by the Militias?”
“Why are you siding with Tekeda?”
“I am not. I said that the main security should be Nejiro Militias. The optics alone make this why. If the GSF is the only or main security, it plays into the hands of our many foes. It looks as if you are pulling all the strings and forcing the outcome that you want. What I am offering is that we send the GSF as a backup. They will be close but not at the security that is seen. We should offer to have some of the other Ichizoku provide units for this security teams plus have the Nijero Militia have forces as part of this force. This would be a joint Nejiro mission.”
“OK I see what you are doing. I hope it works. If that Rokudenashi gets away I will be most unhappy.”
“I understand the risk and it is something we have to do.”

To all GSF commanders we have a change of plan, and you will be providing extra security for the convoy, the main security force will be provided by Nejiro and Koichizoku militias.

“Commanders due to the changes needed for the escort you will have your units roll out after the Nijero and Ichizoku militias do. You will give them a thirty-minuet head start. Then each of your units will move out one at a time so no one will see your group as one unit. You will move out to cover the flanks and rear. If the convoy runs into trouble they will first see if they can make the new trial site, if not they will fall back towards you. The site has fixed weapons that cover the area out to 630 meters. It also has revetments for both vehicles and ‘Mech so it can be defended.” Jack will inform the GSF units. “You will remain out of sight unless needed. AM I CLEAR ON THIS!.” Before ending the transmission. “I also do not need to inform you of how disappointed my wife will be if something happens to Nakazawa during this transit, correct?”

Given that we see the Shadow Cat in the demo, there's a good chance we'll also see omnis outside of the 'original 16'.

Probably going to be at least the omnimechs in MWO manufactured before 3050.  The Shadow Cat, Arctic Cheetah, and Huntsman count.  That would mean possibly no Night Gyr.  I doubt the Turkina is going to happen unless PGI surprises us.  I'm betting we'll get the Bane since it's going to make its debut in MWO soon.

I'm just being greedy. I want doubles of the existing water maps so I can do things like a wide river, an island chain, or a city canal.

Why yes, I do have some boats nearing the end of my painting queue, why do you ask? :)
