Is that the one that can open up to reveal different floor segments? I saw a guy who was showcasing such a build on youtube. That was phenomenal and if they're making the kit available to people, it would very much be worth $900.

Every Few years she goes to South Korea to visit Family, and I get to spend $$$ on my toys.

Also, I get a BIG BONUS every year, so I get to use that as well.

As to Buying this STAR DESTROYER - I'll likely wait for a DOUBLE VIP POINT event. Currently one would earn: 4250 VIP points, so a DOUBLE VIP even would net 8500 VIP Points. Currently 10,000 VIP = $100 discount towards next purchase, and I currently have 1,700 VIP in my account. So being patient will get me the Star Destroyer, and a $100 LEGO future discount. :D

This ISD is very similar to the one they sold some 10-15 years ago. But that one was only about $300...

If I'd had the space I would have bought it back then. Still missing. Still don't have the space. :(

Borrowing an idea I saw elsewhere: make sure everything is a tight fit (with some strategic use of kragle where required), then mount on the wall. If someone wants to donate one I'll happily demonstrate. :beer:

Yea.. I didn't even know they made a fortress maximus was around, till AFTER i stopped buying toys for a good 10 years..
