so i went with the idea of IIC's generally being a lighter and more capable version fo the star league mech they were based on, and applied that to the charger. so it loses 2 tons of mass and amps up the speed even more, and added a basic recon suite of ECm and active probe. but to keep the traits that makes it a charger, i also made sure that the gun were laughable for the mass.

Alpha Strike / Re: Capturing vehicles

Why would you want to? For a heist type of mission. Steal some new prototype tech or supplies in a raid.

I know a couple people who wouldn't contribute to that fund.

No need bother yourself with irrelevant insignificant minority, just take the cash and start beavering away

(But seriously, where do I send the cash, I need this!!!)

It's faster, but the wheels keep it out of the places where you most want to park LRM support.

Tough choice.

The Scorpion brings more LRM to bear than the standard Striker, and more on a per C-Bill basis than the LRM Striker.

But the Striker is faster, and thus more capable of keeping up with a mobile battle as well as able to avoid enemies closing in, and at the same time it can do more to deter or fight those enemies. And it´s not even really expensive compared to anything other than bargain bin vehicles like the Scorpion - we´re not talking about Rhinos here.

I´d probably go with the LRM Scorpion if I´m cash-strapped, but with Strikers (possibly a half-and-half mix of the standard and LRM version) if I can afford it.

It's certainly more valuable tactically, but I imagine the ASFs are the first things sold off to pay the mortgage...

big game for miami as they are now on the inside track for the first seed. based on their season, i'd say they need homefield throughout more than most other teams. jacksonville is probably the same in that respect but i don't think many take them seriously as a contender.

Changed tech level of CRB-27sl from advanced to standard
9
unsure why it was ever set as advanced. changed to standard

Probably, this was done quite often.  But, having CAP seems more valuable.  For a 'Merc unit, making sure that dropship is protected is everything.  Eyes in the sky would be wanted to protect that Union.
