« on: 13 January 2025, 11:05:50 »
I've been seeing database and server errors sporadically the last 3-4 days... is it just me?

Hosting issues. Their servers ran into a maintenance cycle issue one day and their MySQL failed to initialize on another. Otherwise, no new or unknown problems have cropped up. This place continues to run on patches made from newspaper and cake icing.

Look, dude, when you are a real mechwarrior you don't need to get all dressed up in cooling suits and cool helmets to work on your mech. You just strip down to your 1980s panties and crop top vest and start wrenchin' it.

Yikes... sounds like I should look into backing up my index...  Are there any tools you'd recommend for that (i.e., that will cause minimal problems on your end)?
