Balanced OpFor - help picking an enemy
« on: 08 March 2012, 14:46:30 »
I'm putting together a unit built around a Concordat-class Frigate, three Leopard CVs, and an Achilles-Class (Upgraded) with attached fighters based on RAT rolls for the Concordat circa 3066ish.

I'm trying to decide on what would be balanced dropships for the OpFor, centering around...

(FedSuns) A Fox-Corvette

(Capellan) An Impavido-Corvette

(Leaguer) A pair of Zechetinu (a block I and a block II)

I'm trying to plan out a series of battles in a running Aerospace campaign of sorts. No attendant Jumpships or components not carried by the warship. No customs. Fighters based off of RATs. No Vengeance-Class ships, and all ships reasonable for their respective forces. I don't mind if ASF forces are out of balance, but loading up with nothing but CV's or using a Vengeance is out of bounds. Only battle taxi shuttles are allowed in combat, but boarding is an element.

Also trying to place the battles in order of ascending difficulty.
Freeborn and proud~
