My group has started playing some games in the Jihad era and we are a bit confused about Manei Domini pilots.
A Deva pilot with Buffered VDNI and a Pain Shunt would cost (according to JHS:3072 pg. 121):
Deva Prime BV 2.0 = 1584
2/3 pilot modifier = 2.08
1584 X 2.08 X [0.75 (5/4)]=6589.44
But a 1/2 Deva would cost:
1584 X 2.76 =4371.84
I have 2 questions
1] am i miscalculating BV for these units?
2] If not am i missing some ability that Manei Domini pilots have (as I am under the impression that the 2 units above would function identically on the table)?
