Tancredi IV's Water
« on: 10 January 2013, 03:34:46 »
In the writeup of Tancredi IV on page 103 of Handbook: House Davion, Tancredi IV has a surface water coverage of 70% in 3067, and is described as having a lone continent,  Jaipur.

In the writeup of Tancredi IV on page 24 of Objectives: Federated Suns, Tancredi IV's surface water coverage has dropped to 35% in 3079, and the landmasses listed for the world have increased to 5: Ajmer, Beawar, Kota, Jaipur and Udaipur.

What happened to Tancredi IV's surface water between 3067 and 3079, and is it related to the appearance of the extra land masses?

It's more interesting than optimal, and therefore better. O0 - Weirdo

HB:HD was incorrect.
(Since an event that removes about half a planet's water, resulting in 4 new continents to emerge would be rather unhealthy to the existing population, so we can't use that explanation.)
The solution is just ignore Paul.

Thank you.

I was wondering what sort of accident or terraforming project could strip away that much water without causing the population to drop sharply...
