I can't seem to find an article on the Anzu.  Since the mini just got released, that's a flaw that should be corrected.

There was an article, but it was removed for whatever reason: https://bg.battletech.com/forums/index.php/topic,32044.0.html

Kansas City players, or people who are just passing through the area, come join us at the Geekery just off Shawnee Mission Parkway for BattleTech!  Current days are Tuesdays in the afternoon and evening.  I can't make every single week, but odds are pretty good that somebody will be there.

If memory serves, Gespenst was having issues with other people on the boards and decided to up-stakes and take his article with him.  He's back around so if he still has a copy of his article and can be convinced to repost it, I'm totally fine with that.  From what I recall, it was an excellent read.

I should be able to post the Mad Cat Mk II tomorrow.

I notice the Hellbringer has been lost to the mists of time. Can somebody do that one?

I would but with me being mad busy at work and then exhausted afterwards (thank you Battle for Azeroth!) I'm not sure if I could do it as I'm going home and then zonking out after work and the last thing I wanna do is spend hours staring at a computer after doing it all day.

Hi everyone.

For those who remember me - I'm back. Real life has been something else during these past few years, but now I feel like I'm ready to come back to these forums and maybe write a bit again.

For those who don't remember me: whassup.

If anyone wants a MotW done, and done proper: I'll take the first request I get and run with it. No ETA, but I'll post it the moment I'm done.

Wait, this is a 2017 thread. We need to rename this thread to get a new and improved 2018 version.

Any mods able to do that?

MotW hasn't been that active really, no one's been bothered by the wrong year.

Nice to see some old faces. I hope everyone's doing well.

If people are willing we can get a schedule going again. I just got a request to do the Svartalfa, so lemme put that up. I'm a bit out of the loop, so if you're working on an article or would like to reserve one, just leave a message here and I'll edit this post with everyone's reservations/requests/whatever.

I'll note that we discussed about reservations earlier, someone suggested that they stay up 90 days or so if there is no further talk about them, to avoid eternity projects.
Dunno if that became "official".

That's more than reasonable. Or if two people want to do the same write-up, but one person hasn't shown signs of life for a while, then PMs can probably resolve the issue.

But in any case people can write about whatever they want whenever they want anyway. It's not like they're gonna get banned for writing about something that's been covered.

Ah, the Grand Crusader.  The big lump not even the Word liked, so they made a second one that was even worse.

The deed is done.

Ah, the Grand Crusader.  The big lump not even the Word liked, so they made a second one that was even worse.

There are actually four Grand Crusader variants, and in my opinion the two more obscure ones (the 02 and 03) are easily the best.  That said, it's still not a great machine by any standards - there's a reason I own three Legacy miniatures but only one "Grand Cru."

No one could possibly object to that!
