I'm incorporating some of their elements into my draws. I almost never do a 100% straight draw, since some of the designs look indistinguishable from the top-down view. You have to take liberties with a few of them for it to be striking. The Hammerhands I did is an example.

I love Deadborder's work, but if someone talented, like you (or he though he expressed no interest in doing MWO), were to make a set of icons based on the MWO mechs, it would be wonderful beyond words.

I'm really only doing what will be used for our purposes, locally. If that happens to cross with MWO artwork, then it does. :) Probably not going to do all of the MWO minis, though. Just the stuff that looks better than the original art. Whitworth should be next...

Appreciate any you do, but imho all the MWO mechs are far superior to anything in the art or from IWM. ^-^

A nice Deadborder draw that I just felt like toying with. I like the IIC more than the normal, HGN- gun, and I like some aspects of the MWO art... so... a weird fusion of the three.

Simple edits of Deadborder's image(s). Centered the image, shortened the arm by a pixel width and altered the hands. Also utilized the Primitive image because... I just wanted it that way for the server. Call it "cool factor." Kudos to Deadborder for an awesome draw.

The "base" I've been using is really just ComGuard's white camo. PhotoShop has several filters and blending effects which turn flat camo images into 3-D when layered.

Fiddled with these images a bit, adding MWO elements and making the hands more fist-like. Thank god for Deadborder's draws. This thing looked time-consuming.

This was done because I have a dislike for much of the Unseen work. When a Reseen is better, I just go with it (TDR-1C, LGB-0C, etc.). In this case, I went with the Project Phoenix draw from Deadborder and swapped them in for the PXH-1 series.
