(Answered) Aircraft Strafing Run heat generation
« on: 20 March 2018, 18:22:53 »
So when an aircraft does a strafe ground attack (page 243 Total Warfare) it is allowed to fire all single shot direct energy/pulse weapons at the target(s). Does the aircraft generate heat for each weapon firing at each target, or only for each weapon firing total?

Example, if a plane fires 4 pulse lasers at 4 targets, would it generate 16x the amount of heat or only 4x the amount of heat?

Also are you allowed to fire Gauss weapons during a Strafe?

Thanks

No matter how many targets are attacked, each weapon only fires once for the purposes of heat and ammunition tracking.

Non-ammo-dependent direct-fire energy and pulse weapons only for a strafe.
