Spirit Walker Prime
« on: 09 February 2023, 01:24:47 »
TP: Foster introduced a couple more Early Clan 'mechs, this time OmniMechs built on the chassis of the Crab and Black Knight. Old stuff is fun and, wouldn't you know it, once these designs got MUL entries I saw that Clan Waste-Not, Want-Not kept using the old not-Knights all the way to the end. So I figured, why not?

The mods are fairly straightforward. Arms, torso, and head were separated to allow reposing and to make it easier to work on the arms. The PPC was removed to the bits bin and styrene used to recreate detail on the right arm. Then large lasers similar in size and shape to the torso mounts were added, along with a casing for the pod mounting. Some putty work was required to fill in gaps and clean up more of the detail that went away with the PPC. In the end pretty happy with how this hot running relic turned out.

I had no idea the Spirit Walker existed.  I've been missing out.

Love the conversion, @Draco.  Looks absolutely fantastic.

Looks good.  The color scheme reminds me of Ultimate Iron Man.

That is a glorious bit of converting and painting right there!
"Well, I do, Marcus, and rule number one of the MAC has always been that the man with the plan leads. If we get shot up, I'm the first one to get my ticket punched. There are no flags in the MAC."
"And there never will be," Barton said, nodding his head in agreement.

"You guys are facing a freaking Shadow Division! These guys have strict policies against playing fair!"

"I don’t care. Kill them. I planned the defense so I know it will work. If they claim otherwise, they’re cowards. Any step back is a betrayal of me, and saying they don’t have enough men is just an excuse for incompetence and disloyalty. Tell the Krypteia to do it if you’re too soft but get it done." -Emperor Stefan Ukris Amaris I
