For those wanting to setup their own dedicated server, or just not mess with it, there are now officially supported servers running for public use. MegaMek.games lists the six servers running, who is supporting them, and provides instructions for setting up your own.

How to Reset a Servers Rules.
When using public servers, and the game options aren't changing, go under Game Options and reset to default and apply.

March 5th/2021 Update
We've set up a Official Megamek Discord here.. They have voice channels set up to match the dedicated servers.

March 11th/Update
We now indicate the recommend max play size for each server. In theory you can go beyond this bet understand the server could run out of memory, leading to crash and loss of game.

Also the hells-horses.megamek.games has temporarily been changed to a stable server. Once we have a 0.49.0 release it will move back to a dev server

March 13th
Adding a ton more dedicated servers for community play. Thanks to Hutti for them.

November 27th
Adding a few more servers thanks to Jay^ and Delra. For the most up to list see HERE

December 13th
Updated server list.

December 14th
Updated server list. Please see this post for addition information on the updated names for the Griffins servers.

June 14th 2023
Updated server list. We've added two new servers Blackhearts and Wolverine.

January 20th 2024
Please note with the new Milestone system, SLDF has been converted to the 49.7-MILESTONE.

April 21/2024
Dev Team servers updated to 0.49.19

Aug 5th/2024
Server list updated. Please note that 0.48.0-Stable are considered Depreciated (Old) servers and aren't following the MILESTONE system as provided by a third party.

September 7th/2024
Development servers updated to 0.50.0-Development. The TapEnvy.us, LLC and MegaMek Team servers are know running with Sentry Error tracking on.

I'm soooo not technical but could donate some c-bills if someone could set it up and provide me with some cost estimates.

Was wondering what happened when I saw the memory notification. Server ran out of memory and killed the instance. I'll see about upping the two TapEnvy controls to allow for the larger battles.

Out of curiosity, how many players, units, etc and what size map were y'all using? Trying to figure out resource needs to better advise players what MegaMek can handle at each memory bracket.

Both Diamond Shark & Ghost Bear has been upgraded to a larger instance and should support larger battles, possibly up to regiment v regiment scale.
