Used the Battlemech recovery from TRO 3060 as inspiration but used art from FM Mercs Sup of a Mech mover moving an Atlas.

TRO:3060 and RS:3060 have the Heavy BattleMech Recovery Vehicle (with the Flatbed Truck pictured only), which is capable of hauling 100 tons.

We kind of went in the middle with the model, since we have to balance the size of the model. You could use it for either version of that vehicle.

The web only will be on iwm site after show. The new summer 2021 release has already shipped out to retailers.

I just want to applaud whomever worked on the Goliath for doing such a great job of keeping the mech in its own hex! I appreciate that the recent quads all do a much better job of staying in their own hex than some of the older ones did, and a chunky as the Goliath is I’m sure it was a challenge to make it fit.

Thanks! I had several aims while working on it, and not everything worked out. One of those aims was to have two legs fixed to the base to ease construction, and that had to take a bit of a side-step for casting purposes. Hopefully the split base goes together easily, and pops right into a standard hex base.

Alignment looks wonky, as forward appears to be on a corner, not a flat. The visible rear leg does appear to be twisted, so it could be result of a quick-and-dirty assembly to get pics up as soon as possible. (Not a complaint. Stuff happens.)

Dry-fitting mine and slotting it into a hex base, it seems to face a flat hex edge.

Going from one photo can do that: another aim was to give it a little more life than the straight-ahead trot of the previous variants. It's meant to be running and leaning into a turn. There were definitely limits that were smacked into in trying to make that work, especially with a turret that should be able to traverse if you magnetize it. The visible rear leg is meant to be angled, like it's pushing the back end around. If you think of it running across the battlefield, tracking its target with the turret, and pushing hard to get its ATM in line, you'll have a better feel for the pose.

After having someone paint the new plastic RFL for me, I had him raise the arms a bit in the process.  After I received it, I noticed it has a bit of a tilt in the hips.  Looks VERY cool combined with the raised arms.   To ME, it's like it's starting to turn as it's aiming up at a target.

While I'm NOT a painter, I can still appreciate the small details that the Sculptors put into the designs.

IWM likes to give brick & mortar retailers first shot before something hits the webstore. They'll probably be listed in a few months

those are web exclusives that don't go through distro channels is my understanding. I could be wrong.
