I think this list of calculating the to-hit numbers for air-to-ground and ground-to-air is accurate. (If you can understand this list of course).
For air to ground, I am listing altitude limitations and changes based on the attack type.
The modifier you need to accept based on the attack type.
If the target movement and terrain matter I have those boxes open. (If there is a zero, then movement and terrain have no effect.)
Ground to air:
1. You need to determine distance to aircraft (To determine short, medium, long)
2. If the target is NOE there is a penalty to hit
3. Angle of attack
4. Attacker's movement
5. Other attacker's modifiers
Please feel free to comment if this accurate or if I am missing some information.
I bought the Record sheets from Catalyst so now I can include aerospace attacks to my battletech games.
But the aerospace rules are confusing (in my opinion), so I need to create this cheat sheet.
