I am really liking the Jumbo, the more I look at it. If I were to choose that, I'd use one of the first-sculpt Union-Cs, back when DropShip minis were much larger than now.

Yeah, it works out nicely and offers between the Mule & Mammoth for cargo on a purpose built hull . . . IMO, b/c of the armor and SC bays you would be more likely to find them bought into national service for their ability to survive.  Or they ply the frontier trade routes b/c they get lower insurance rates than something more thin skinned.

Interestingly, I think LCTs might not have a permanent contingent of aerospace fighters.

My recollection is 200 days per ton, but I forget if that's for crew with quarters or crew without.

Pretty sure that was crew with quarters.

And I think the Wiki is just missing it, other sources have them having a "standard" wing attached.
Of course it will vary from unit to unit, you might get 1 w/ only a squadron & another with a triple sized wing (Deneb Cavalry?)
But I think the standard is a single wing.

Now that I'm back with my books, I can confirm Hellraiser is right.

StratOps, Page 155:
Quote
On spacecraft, 1 ton of food and water covers the needs of 200 people for 1 day if they are assigned to quarters. Bay personnel
(including infantry bay personnel) who do not receive separate quarters have simpler life support and facilities, and thus use 1 ton of consumables (food, water, air, and so on) per 20 people for 1 day. Personnel transported in cargo bays use 1 ton of consumables per 5 people per day.

Is this Fresh and Frozen foodstuff? or MRE?

Cause I can see the standard rate @ 10 people per Half ton per day. If it's MRE, how much... 1.5 more? ( 15 per Half ton )

It's food, water and air.  MREs alone are in AToW under "Emergency Rations" on page 312.
