Yes, it's the dreaded Thread Necromancy! >:D
I found this thread after doing a Search for something else, but the brief bit in the Search Results caught my eye. There's a Company called Far Future Enterprises (FarFuture.net) that is selling most of the old GDW games systems on either CD or DVD, in PDF format. I picked up the CDs for the Twilight 2000 rules, versions 1.0 And 2.0/2.2, and each one includes scans of EVERY Official product that was made for either version, along with a couple of nice Fan Made items from Norway (for the 2.2 edition). They also came with the associated articles from Challenge Magazine. When I got those 2 (both on CD), I also got the DVD of Challenge magazine, which also lists the index for what would have been the last print issue (#78). There's nothing else about that issue, just the index, but it's neat for the sake of "Completeness" anyway. If I remember correctly, the site is owned/run by Marc Miller, one of the guys from GDW, and I know he worked on the T2K games. He also sells the various Traveller systems, including 2300AD and Megatraveller. I just popped the DVD in and you can apparently buy the magazine collection at DriveThruRPG also. Anyway, it beats trying to hunt down the magazines! It's $45.00 from FFE, but still cheaper than trying to find the collection elsewhere. :o It's got the entire run of #25-#77. O0 Might I add, they also scanned all the ads, so that's something interesting also, and there's the odd page that's been scanned upside down. ;D
@Jal Phoenix - I don't know if it's worth adding or not, but #54 also has a Variant of the Achilles BattleMech called the Myrmidon. Also, Issue 30, at the end of the article Building the Perfect Mech, their example is called the Lucien. I tried entering it into HMP, and it wouldn't let me make (and Save) a 'Mech that's 12 TONS Overweight. :-\ Duane Loose did the art for the 4 Jumptanks from #36! O0
Issue 61 also has the Kelson Support Vehicle (Hovercraft).
Issue 73 on the PDF has 3 copies of the Ranger Record sheet, rather than 1 each for the Pulsar, Pulse Leader, and Ranger 'Mechs. :-\ Then again, I've had my copy for a few years so that May have been corrected since I got mine. I've no idea if the print version actually came that way or not either. But hey, it's got a Firestarter on the cover! O0
Issue 76 mentions BT on the cover, but has no actual content for it within. :P
