I gotta admit, that feels remarkably Blood Spirit, as far as the warload goes.  The Mk II, 2, 4, and 5 are all Merc/IS General, as is the Mk IV.  I just like the lighter, faster machine; the armor's a plus on BT scales when you can laugh off SRM and LBX barrages.  For the IV C and D, I'm loving the use of CASE II - pretty much a requirement with an XXL!

What about in regular BT, which do you prefer then?

Also were these available to the FWL by 3145?

Local Foxes merchant can get you one. ;) :D

I mentioned Keystone because Earthwerks wa s the largest Mech manufacturer, by volume, in the League for centuries.  IBMU never matched them despite trying, and the Wolves took Keystone and Kalidasa and Stewart, meaning they control Earthwerks, KaliYama, and Corean Enterprises, three of "our" largest Mech factories.  Wresting control of even one of those back will dramatically improve the FWLM supply situation.

I kind of like the thread title, but it somehow lacks the true FWL attitude.  I'm thinking more like: The Free Worlds League Topic, but we couldn't agree on a thread title.

Ah. Makes sense. I hadn't looked at that. Definitely a high priority target. WE might be reluctant to let that one go without a serious effort. Keystone will probably be a big fight, if things go that way.

One other point, according to Sarna, in Tongatapu's favor is Clan DHS production.  I assume that's under the Empire, but if those lines could be captured and used...

. . . no tank talk for my page 1 question?
I'm a fan of the M3 Moltke myself.  The main's very snipey, but two LB10s and a Plasma Rifle is going to be mid-range murder on enemy tanks.  Ontos is always a gem.

Point of order!  MadCapellan didn't properly declare a motion to make a thread title!
I'm not sure how long you've been around on the forums, though you have a thousand posts. Never take anything JKlantern says seriously unless it's about food.

Honestly if there's a bunch of posts with different subject lines in the same thread that feels perfectly FWL.

So now that Regulus is back in the mix, which Regulan designs are y'all looking forward to once again getting to mix into your FWLM forces?

The Sarath and Neanderthal are both phenomenal machines.

Personally, I'm all about that iNarc Tufana. It's truly one of the most sublime hovercraft in the game, as far as I'm concerned.

The Sarath is one of those designs I really want to love but has somewhat lackluster configs thus far. The Neanderthal I've only used once, as far as I can recall, and it took a Copperhead Long Tom round to the dome the one time it got close enough to melee anyone, so I feel like I still can't judge its effectiveness.

Really, IMHO, the Haywire pods are the best way to get your money's worth. Being able to drop +1 TH's on your opponent can literally swing the match in your favor.

I'm a big fan of the config with talons.  30 damage kicks are nothing to be shy about, especially with the ability to kick backwards.  A turret mount and an iHLL on another config is also nice.  It's a quad that has to worry a lot less about the traditional firing arcs.

Plus it looks kickass.

Admittedly, I've only gotten to use the Sarath B once, and it missed with the one kick it got to make before its side torso got knocked out by return fire, so again, I probably just haven't used it enough to properly judge it yet.

I do love the 9M2, but that un-CASE'd ammo in the side torsos always seems to cause it to go up like a Roman candle when I use 'em. Not that they don't lay some hurt down first, usually, it's just that much like the Akuma I find ammo explosions almost inevitably take them out at some point.

At which point, the Violator amusing garbage.
No seriously. I spent half a year trying to make it work. It isn't going to.

The Sarath is a rude machine. Ever since I seized upon an opportunity to speed past a Centurion in an awkward location with poor lines of fire, horse kick off a leg and then scoot off, the Sarath has won few friends.

I could maybe see the U3 being useful, but... Seriously, just hiring someone to replace that Mining Drill with a Lance would do wonders. Hell, I'd even consider replacing it with a small shield.
