The Grinder is a large multiplayer demo that's also suitable for more experienced players. One big map, many players. Start with a simple mech; when it gets destroyed, replace it with something a little more powerful and complex. Repeat through the six levels, though we're only running for four hours or so, so reaching end game is unlikely unless you're both lucky and unlucky.

Games U is at 1550 N Stonehenge Dr, Gilbert, AZ 85233

Regular Battletech game in the store Thursday evenings 5-9pm.

That went so well I'm running it again on Oct 8. (Original post edited so the new date shows.) If we get mostly experienced players we'll start at level 3. (Double heat sinks and ER PPCs, oh my!)

I'm scheduling another Grinder session for the 22nd. Once we get enough regulars I'll kick off the Missions narrative campaign.

I was playing, so I only remembered to take a few.

Here a Bandersnatch is realizing it made some poor life-choices.

The Barghest is asking, "Excuse me, that Cyclops has how many rocket launchers?!"

Against mechs, infantry have two options: Run screaming from Godzilla, or giggle under your breath as the arrogant fools blunder into your trap. - Weirdo

Stealth pounced on Rifleman that had been stationary for several rounds dispensing RAC pain.
Stealth's player was not paying attention, and did not realize the Rifleman did not have a movement die...

Note that the end result was just to get the Rifleman out of the woods, as he rolled a lot of 4s and 5s, leaving the Stealth's back untouched. So victory to the Stealth, I guess?

I got your meaning, the Gif was there for humor as the Stealth player went... "What you mean he hasn't moved yet?!?!??!"

I'll stop people if they're trying to declare a charge or DFA, but if it's just normal movement, well, I figure we learn more from our mistakes than we do from our successes.
