Manufacturer: Telfar BattleMechs
    Primary Factory: Midway
Communications System: Lynx-Shur
Targeting and Tracking System:  Cyclops Multi-Tasker 11

Overview:
The partnership with Blue Shot Weapons and Norse-Storm BattleMechs of Solaris
VII did much for Telfar. Their two key products to the DCMS, the Lynx and
Maelstromm were due to the partnerships (some say charity) with the Lyran
corporations when the threat of a new Clan Invasion preoccupied peoples' minds.

Their executives went against the strong insistence of Kanrei Kiyomori Minamoto
and invested heavily in Blue Shot Weapons, acquiring the rights to the Lynx
wholly and securing several of Norse-Storm's design notes. It was believed that
Minamoto interfered openly with Procurement Department's trial of the LNX-11Q
that it took the Kanrei's death (many years later) for it to be approved.

Capabilities:
The new Lynx, however, was under provisionary production for several decades
before the Procurement Department officially greenlit the LNX-11Q. Outwardly,
the 'Mech looks much like the LNX-9Q of more than four decades earlier, but it
sports a new endo-steel frame and triple-strength myomer musculature that bears
the heavy energy payload well.

A Lord's Light 3 Heavy PPC is partnered with the Lord's Light 5 Snub Nose PPC
in opposite arms, providing wide angles of fire. Its predecessor's quartet of
medium lasers were reduced to a trio of ER models, with a lone ChisComp 32
keeping the heavy particle cannon company. The Nissan 275 XL engine has been
redesigned to better handle the stresses of continuous energy weapons usage and
includes a built-in Supercharger to propel the Lynx faster.

Deployment:
Blue Shot Weapons is authorized to sell the LNX-11Q to any and all interested
buyers outside the Draconis Combine. As the 'Mech somehow falls under the
original agreements between the Federated Commonwealth and Draconis Combine,
this is being quietly overlooked.

The high-expense of maintaining the 'Mech is commonly ignored by mercenaries
who make full use of the 55-tonner's ability to propel itself beyon 120 kph and
still leap an adequate 150m at a time.

I've always loved the Lynx, and I like the use of TSM. What about trading the snubbie for a LPPC and TC (http://bg.battletech.com/forums/index.php/topic,17774.msg402960.html#msg402960)?
