Mhm, not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I would very much like to see an article on the Mad Cat III... all other Mad Cats are already covered, only this one is missing... and it was the first to be mentioned in the Dark Age novels, to boot!

Another one I would LOVE to see an MotW Article on is the Kodiak, for obvious reasons...  ^-^

Huh. Those seem like they should be around, but you're right- both have been covered in the past, but neither in the past decade-ish (and aren't on this iteration of the forums). Surprising for sure!

In that case add me in for the Kodiak in January (since it sounds like this week is resolved) and I'll see what I can do with it.

Hellbie, you gonna write about the Kodiak only or Kodiak II too?

Also, i might claim Mad Cat III too... i need something smaller to write between two double articles.

I forgot there WAS a Kodiak II. Is this shit decaf?

Might as well, there's only a couple of variants and it's using a lot of the same basic features as the original (big-ass engine, etc.), so it's more of a major variant than a different design the way things like the Loki II or Mad Cat IV are. Consider it Kodiak/Kodiak II.

I think Kodiak II exists only because the art for the MWDA mini used MWIV-likeness.
Actually surprised they weren't statted as Kodiak variants (not dissimilar from PP IICs or Vulture Mark II)... perhaps some MWDA dossiers gave more info about DA kodiaks.

Speaking of Dark Age stuff, Mad Cat III is still lacking record sheet for its 2 variant, and TRO Prototypes entry is too vague for even an approximation.
Oh, well, everything else exists, once one figures there's errata for NTNU-featured variant 5.

Not sure i'll write this one though i added preliminary claim. Someone really wants it, chime in.

Also, if anyone has any articles ready and would really like to get them posted, i think we can add 'Mechs of the Mid-week. If there are interested posters, and no general objections?

Note that there's not one but two versions of the Miffed Kitty in the old RS:MWDA book, lest they be forgotten (the 2 in that book being a personal favorite design)

They are re-issued in 3145 NTNU as variants 4 and 5, i checked. Though 5 needed errata to fill its armor, was ton underweight as recorded in the sheet.

Galahad written. It'll be up in January at some point then.

What to write next...

I'll probably remove the Mad Cat III from my list. The Thunder/Lao Hu article is big enough, and i've got the Huron Warrior, and there are some others i may be interested in writing, like the Quickdraw and/or Grasshopper.

I... miiiiiight want to do the Mad Cat III, but I have this sinking feeling it won't be ready for a while due to related articles I want to write first.

I'll release the claim.

I can say what i want in the comments anyway. Which is pretty little really, now that i think of this.

EDIT That said, i added a question mark for your claim. Since you say it might take a while...

OK, Scotty indicated he has something for January 1st. I'll leave it a surprise...

EDIT Hellbie, i suggest you release the Commando a day or two early. So that we have time to talk about it.

Hey Hellbie, while you're reading new replies to this thread, it occurs to me that we hit 50 pages a few posts ago. :)

Does that mean this schedule should be re-created in a new thread?

Should i just copy the Schedule and create a new thread or...?
