Figured it would be a business reason, and totally get that it's Mike's call.

Have you considered missile "face plates"? Eg. the tubes, but with a rim around them? Not all launchers sit on pods sitting externally, and putting a missile plate "bare" is going to look odd.

There are the Generic Missile Launcher and plates, OP-097 and OP-098. The plates would be what you are asking about. Just not as many options as the new plates.

Still no Zibler tank?

Part of the next batch of web only I have to get up on the webstore.

There had to be a compromise in order to get Mikes okay for the project. He did not want a ton of SKU’s which it could have been easily. So went with grouping weapon types and the plates by size. Combined the launchers into two SKU for each IS / Clan versions.
Bit of a shame.  I too share some concern for having a bunch of bits I won't use, but I get that logistics is a pain.
Personally, I am more concerned with the plates than the launchers.  I'd rather have seen them split by launcher type than size since I imagine a lot of use are going to end up with a bin full of ATMs and MMLs and an eternal shortage of LRMs.

Also I second the motion for barrel launchers.

Shame LoTB went down, we could organise trades there. Not sure on other forum's reliability for trading, and we can't do it here of course.

Does the subreddit allow that?

I know that not everyone is lucky enough to have a good game group, but the few times I've traded things has been with the people at my FLGS. I imagine once we all get our kickstarter stuff, there will be a swapfest.

If it's a company thing, probably not. if it's like BT International Facebook , then hold onto your britches and caveat emptor, because there's nothing official about them.

More parts like this will depend on how well these sell. If they are popular we can look at more options.

As for Griffin variants, there are variants planned just coming out later.

BTU is still up and Alive.  They've got a "Trade & Sell" Forum, but someone will have to go in and blow out the dust and cobwebs.  The last post in there was 17 NOV, 2019.   :o   Only 3 other sections have seen posts in 2020 though.   :-\

There are also a few "Trade & Sell" FB Groups, for those that "Do" FB.
To me, Repros are 100% Wrong, and there's NO  room for me to give ground on this subject. I'm not just an Immovable Object on this, I'm THE Immovable Object. 3D Prints are just 3D Repros.

Something to bear in Mind. Defending the BT IP is Frowned upon here.

Hey Speck, I was wondering if 2020 was going to get back on a production schedule- I could not tell from the website.  Were the parts the extent of the Con Specials?  Do we have a 3Q or 4Q release?

There will be one more distro release after the next one that has Thunderbolt, Commando and Dominator.

As for con specials, not much got fully in process before the pandemic started. I am holding for one of the ideas but it would release later in year.

LCT

Oh, so many possibilities there, if we're getting variant parts. Missile Awesomes, maybe Royal Beemer....
So hoping for cool stuff.

actually getting awesome 8R/8T/8V variant parts would be kind of amazing.

the dominator hitting first makes sense - it's been known for a bit since Divided We Fall dropped. it's also from RecGuide 01... sojurner next?

Do remember we got the Shadow Cat III before the RG series, so i reckon we might not get the new 'Mechs in order.

yeah for sure that's up in the air.

the providence of the shadow cat III might be a bit different than most of the rest of the series - it might have existed as mini before they recguides were even in development - it existed in that murky official-but-not-canon zone for a fair bit before it ended up in volume 03.

either way, we'll probably get them in non-sequential order

The Shadowcat III was originally just the DA sculpt of the Shadowcat until they decided to turn it into a new mech.

Yes.  And before that it was the Shadowcat sculpt from the clicky game.  They were originally going to release it as Shadowcat (Dark Age) and then decided that it was different enough to warrant new stats, so it became the Shadowcat III.

Erk . . . well, Protos were 1 piece . . . are any of the Society or other later protos multi-piece?

But I can also see that perhaps being different just because the wings- MAYBE the LRM pods.  If it was body, wings (x2), and LRM pods it is still ok . . . if it is MORE pieces and on scale with other Protos . . . eh, maybe not.
