According to page 190 of the fourth printing of Campaign Operations, Technical Teams and Medical Teams consist of seven and five people respectively. Medical Teams are housed with MASH Equipment, which also requires five people.
Mobile Field Bases, at least in Advanced Buildings (Tactical Operations: Advanced Rules, page 130, sixth printing), require five extra crew rather than seven. Do those extra people count as Technical Teams? If so, are they full technicians or AsTechs? Can they be supplemented by personnel carried separately, such as a sixth and seventh member in an infantry compartment?
Finally, while finding page references for this question, I could not actually track down anything saying Mobile Field Bases outside Advanced Buildings require extra crew. Am I missing something, or do they actually require zero extra people on other units?
