I was not sure where to put this so the Ask the Lead Developers section seemed the best place to get an official answer even though it is not exactly a simple question.
The Clan Invasion kickstarter has just ticked over $706k (congrats on that) and there are a significant number of new canon characters included in what has been promised (825 by my count at time of typing) plus Blaine Lee Pardoe and HBS have recently included at a quick estimate maybe 100 fans into canon.
Will there be continuity checking (and maybe even restrictions) on names and characters that fans submit?
(Making a few hundred new Kerensky bloodname holders canon for example would be a bit universe breaking or even simple things like when HBS did it, Chris Ecks canonization when he appears in the Heir Apparent novella with a wife and children despite his in-game DOB placing him around ten years old at the time!)
