I love field guns and field artillery for infantry forces, but would love to include field missile systems - basically replicating "Buck Rodgers" or "Katyusha" trucks for mechanized or motorized infantry. However I could easily see this abused if using one for one rules from autocannons to missile systems (i.e. 1 person per ton of weapon; 28 soldiers in a standard platoon = 28 LRM 5s). I thought a compromise might be a "trailers" that are built. Fluff reasons would be that missile systems need some kind of targeting feed and stabilization platform, thus requiring a trailer built around the system - which could work, and I even designed a 15 ton wheeled or tracked trailer to carry an LRM 20. Which I thought was roughly fair (15 soldiers to operate vehicles and platform). But I'm not sure if this has ever been addressed and thought I'd ask! Thank you in advance! Any respectful feedback is welcome as well!
