I shouldn't have included the timing element regarding how long ago I ordered, because that's not really relevant. My question after seeing the book already on the shelf was just regarding the process of how distribution occurs.

It wasn't intended as a knock on CGL--my local post office is a joke and I don't trust packages or anything else to arrive as intended. I'm content to wait as long as I know that something is in fact coming, and didn't disappear in the mail.

Please resume the regularly scheduled thread.

Cubby mentioned on a post from a page back that it was in print and on the shelves at his local FLGS. O0 He was just relating that it did not get shipped to him yet from battleshop yet, and seeing it prompted asking about it here.

I love hard copies. I also love PDFs for convenience, but they are not the same. The monitor light bothers my eyes after a while, no matter how much I magnify the page.

I always want more stuff, but right now Im in that save up for Gencon phase right now. Instead of get the PDF/BOOK Combo right now, maybe hold off until I get the DTF in my hand after being waiting at the doors when they open the flood gates on Thursday at 10a.

If you can't be happy waiting for it, you probably won't be happy actually having it. Plus, I've done some minor freelance work on one or two BT projects, and am working on the Valiant Universe RPG. I have a basic understanding of the way the process works, it is what it is.

When I asked the friendly folk at the store on 2 May, they said it came in within the last two weeks but couldn't be more specific. So I don't think it's been out for a month or anything like that.

Roger that. I stare at a computer screen 9+ hours a day, not including working on other projects at home. Even a little time reading DTF saves my eyes some strain.
