If smoke ammo runs out it can continue to use the autocannon and a laser to maintain it's heat profile, but getting up to heat with the lasers alone will take 30 seconds unless some quick heat sink manipulation is done. Clan Elementals are the designs greatest weak point and the TAG make it easier for (non-fusion powered) artillery support to help address this.
