I was just making a general social comment.  And nowadays we don't say "******," we say "direction-challenged."

My mistake.

It's obviously not the case now, seeing as I am fairly happily employed now, but the doom-and-gloom feelings come back every once in a while and don't go away for at least half a day.

But yeah, I'm currently working on how to make those feelings do some work for me, and as it is right now the usual way they do it is just make me really hot-headed and excessive and harsh.

Hardly an hour goes by that I don't 'shoulda woulda coulda' and it kept me in a funk for a long time, perpetuating the cycle. A lot of what happened couldn't be helped and it sucks, but, like you said; make it work for you.  I didn't spend 45K on school but I spent a  lot of money and 5 long, hard years trying to build a business only to realize the futility of it all and walking away when fate finally forced me out.

In the 19th Century you'd hardly have stood out.

Does anyone know if there's a word for a constant state of fatigue and exasperation? I think that's how I'm feeling today.

If it's just today, it isn't constant.  Check back tomorrow.  If it persists, call it ennui.

Alas, I will now not be going to GenCon. (That's bad!)
However, I will be going on a honeymoon instead (that's good!)
It will be in Saint Paul Minnesota (JESUS CHRIST)

I visited the art museum there, but I don't remember whether I enjoyed it.  Strange.

If its in Minnesota that means there is only one thing she wants to do. Look on the bright side.

I recommend stocking up on peanuts and Gatorade. You'll need the nutrients.
