I'm going the other way for GenCon, bringing nose-plugs.

And the largest bottle of spray deodorant I can find.

You guys could try and start a Gamers for Personal Hygiene guerrilla campaign by letting off massive amounts of deodorant at the con.   :D

Or would that be frowned upon?

I think security would frown on individuals running and screaming while releasing an aerosol in a crowded convention center,

Just buy a few hundred travel-size soap bars, and hand them out like a religious group handing out flyers at an airport.

Wait, you think the imposed poverty is going to improve after the wedding?   ;D

This is probably the most time and money you're going to have from now on out.  I was told once by a very wise man that the real problem with growing up, getting married and generally becoming an adult is that of the three deciding factors in life, (Time, Money and Desire) I would only be able to choose two at any one time.  Generally though, it really only comes down to two things.  If you have time, you don't have the money and if you have the money, you don't have the time.  Desire really never comes into the picture unless you spend so much time making the money that you kill the desire.

So here's hoping you sell the dumptruck!

Can anyone recommend a good backpack for a 15.6" laptop? I'm looking for one that I can use as my carryon for the flight to Indy, so ideally it'd have space for clothes, toiletries, etc., to spare me the cost of a checked bag (also, I hope to make an earlier flight, and I have lots of experience with lost baggage). Preferably something I can get from Amazon prime.

I have a swiss gear backpack/computer bag.  Three plus years of abuse and it looks and works great.  A lot of pockets and storage space.

So, I quit my job yesterday.  I'd never really intended to be a cop long term, I just needed a paycheck until I could get a teaching job somewhere.  While police work is broadly similar to the military service I'd done previously, it turns out that it isn't enough so for me to like it.  It hit me over the weekend that, even on the bad days, I enjoyed the subsitute teaching I'd done before I started working for the PD, whereas every day as a cop was just a matter of "How many more hours 'til we go home?  How many days until we get paid?".  I decided the pay wasn't worth a job I didn't like.  So I'm going back to subbing until a full time teaching position opens up.  The pay sucks, but I still live at home with my dad, so it's enough.  And the hours are better.  And it helps, rather than hinders, the volunteer stuff I do with the district varsity soccer program and my church youth group.

I can pick up mad chicks here with it. It's all about the chrome exhaust stack. Though it takes a, um, certain kind of man to enjoy ladies like that. Plus side (and I emphasis plus!) you can lift the bed up to help them roll out when your done.

It's also a PITA to park. The reverse is kinda funky and it has more blind spots then Ray Charles.

I'm hoping for an ice cream truck myself.

You buy it, and I'll throw in an ice cream machine.

I'm looking for one as well, for my new laptop. Thanks!

I agree with Edward here, it's all about being able to look yourself in the mirror. That's why I work PT at a library now. I love it and could hardly look at a lawnmower or skid steer anymore.

Ran my first game tonight as an official agent! Went pretty well, had 4 players come out so I was pretty happy. Was surprised at how well they played. Had a little Wasp on Wasp kick-boxing going and a Falcon actually get to use it's rear facing MGs.  Also had a Panther do a DFA, which slowed down play a bit as I had to double check rules, but a good game and they seemed to enjoy it.
