Are you rolling with 4/5 pilots?

The way God intended.

I was thinking 3/4, myself.

Eh, we're going to see her friend in AZ (and investigate moving there) so it's not even an issue. She would be totally fine reading her book/playing on computer at a coffee shop while I nerd out.  Why would my pride be an issue? It's not like I would lose or anything...

Then yeah, I'm pretty sold on the 8.5 round O/U, assuming you don't use more than one mapsheet.

Well, she could always get together with Mrs. MDM and discuss the care and feeding of Husbands........ ^-^ [skull]

Why do I get the feeling someone's planning to charge into the Wight's short range to nerf the HPPC?

I've been toying with the idea of doing two identical mapsheets joined on the longside, and having the two combatants begin in the center of opposite long sides.

Thoughts, Josh?

Also, Josh, I'm thinking we should try to find an evening to MegaMek this. We can definitely play some Battletech when you roll through STL, but it might be fun to have everyone who wants able to spectate.

We can. I'll double check my online MegaMek skills, Edward can vouch that it takes me a bit to log in. What times/dates work for us and our spectators? Should we do a Poll? I know who we can ask to make one for us! :)

Okay, I'm clearly falling blissfully behind on current pop culture; what on/off Earth is jersey shore, and why does it keep getting mentioned in the few Clan threads I browse through?

Depends on who you ask. Most people will call it a show about idiots behaving badly. Imbeciles will call it a great show about cool people. Pretentious people slumming it will call it an anthropological experiment. As for what it's actually about, you're probably better off just consulting Wikipedia.

From what very little I know, the idea of looking it up on Wikipedia terrifies me. I'm scared, Dave. Will I dream?

I'm not so much blown away that we have a My Little Pony thread on these boards as I am cheapened by its very existence.
