Works for me. I'll probably just spectate though. I'm getting a headache and it feels like it'll be a bad one.

Cheese and rice!  You guys sure do talk a lot. ;D

@3CL
Thanks for the short list there.  I actually have about half of those mechs.  Went through my minis today to see what I had(you should see my painting table now) and found what I think are several "Davion" mechs.  I have a few Ajax tanks but not sure what other tanks the Davions like to use.

I have the following tanks:

Myrmidons
Pilum
Pattons
Striker
Po
Bulldog

Any of those used often?  Any other suggestions for tanks?

Im in luck for the BA department.  Have some Grenadiers and Cavaliers that I bought a few GCs back.

Looks like you've got the makings of a decent armor force there.  The Striker and Bulldog are both solid AFFS designs and the Patton/Rommel chassis, while a LCAF unit, can also be found in the AFFS ranks due to the alliance.

If you want real AFFS tanks though, Alacorns, Challengers and Behemoths are the way to go for heavy assault armor.

Ah forget one tank that I had and I "think" its a Challenger.  Have to check the TRO right quick.

Pilums and Strikers are as Davion as they come. Bulldogs and Pattons aren't uncommon.

I thought the Pilum was a DCMS Arrow IV unit, was I thinking of another tank?

Sweet!  Glad that my tank forces now have an actual home.  In additino those are indeed Challenger tanks that I have.  I also believe that there are four of them in my bins.  Combine those with the Ajax tanks I have and a nasty assault tank force is in the works.

Pilum's built on Johnsondale by Valiant. It's an AFFS Arrow IV or LRM 15 tank.

Schiltron maybe?  Pilum is AFFS, and a decent Arrow IV carrier.

That's it, I was thinking about the Schiltron.  I've got to look into the Pilum then.

I'd also like to note that despite the incessant bitching and whining, it seems pretty easy to build a solid Drac company, even without hundreds of gauss boats.

This is one of those times that I wish this board had a "Like" button, because I would be pressing it over and over again right now. Seriously, if you can't build a modern-era DC force that can go toe-to-toe with any of its neighbors, you aren't trying hard enough.

Was just youtubing for some clips of Sgt. Plumley from We Were Soldiers - and stumbled on the clip of the final push fight scene.

Damn. I love that movie.

That is indeed a good movie.  Even more so by the fact that Harold Moore said they "got it right."  When a guy who was there says a Vietnam movie got it right thats all the credit you need.

I may even pull that movie out and watch it tonight...

I hate We Were Soldiers for the totally tacked on hollywood ending. It one of the worst culpits for faux true story telling I have ever come across.  #P

Fun fight tonight!

3CL, BlackAce, and Paladin1 (Filthy Brits) vs. me, greatsarcasmo, and Wolflancer4(Damn Yankees)! We each took 2 Light 'Mechs for a total of 2000bv per player, the boosted to 2/3 pilots in a 35x35 map called New Avalon. Big city with a big square in the middle.

My Jenner 7D was the first to go, on a failed charge - proving that it takes a Real Man (TM) to kill a Jenner 7D, so only I could do it. :P
Next were Paladin1's two Mongoosen, Mongeese, um.....yeah. First fell victim to my Wight's snubbie, and the second to Wolflancer4's ArcticFox alpha strike in the rear arc.

Meanwhile, Edward completely screwed up greatsarcasmo's Jackal and waved his hollander's cannon around menacingly. Jay finally arrived at the combat about 4 turns in, just in time to have Roy flank him and vape his Valkery.

I succeeded on a pointless DFA (I couldn't pass it up, had 6s to hit!) on Edward's Hollander, then fell on my can. Managed to regroup a bit, and we focused fire on Edward's Holander and Firebee, rendering both combat ineffective in the last round of the game.

Good times, fellas! I'm off to bed!
